Ramesh K. Yadav

Ramesh Kumar Yadav is a Senior Partner at Alba Law Offices, based in Delhi. A 1987-batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service, Ramesh superannuated as Director General of Income Tax (Intelligence and Criminal Investigation) on 31 January 2021. Before joining the Indian Revenue Service, he served in the Provincial Civil Service, Uttar Pradesh, from 1985 to 1987. His career across the civil services and tax administration gives him a rare perspective on the practical functioning of regulatory institutions, government processes and compliance environments.
